The Bac Rac is a co-angler’s dream come true! The Bac Rac holds 4-7 rods across the rear deck securely while the unique design allows the Bac Rac to install in 2 seconds without fasteners or tools.
Installation The racks are made to seat on either end of the rear (battery) compartment lid of most bass boats. Open the lid, seat the racks, close the lid and lock it down – it’s as simple as that. Place it as far back as possible to preserve room on the rear deck. Stick-on shim pads are provided in case the fit isn’t as snug as desired. It comes with pre-drilled screw holes for a more permanent mount.
Performance The storage system is compatible with baitcasting or spinning outfits, which fit nicely in padded, U-shaped cradles. Rubber tie-downs hold the rods securely so they can’t bounce out, even when motoring at high speeds or navigating in rough water.
Construction The aircraft-grade aluminum frames are powder-coated for a custom look, while the cradles are wrapped in high-quality EVA foam rubber to protect handles and blanks from marring. It fits nicely into a supplied nylon backpack-style case, which frees up your hands to carry rods and other gear.

The Bac Rac Version 2 is a result of new boat designs with large
motor set-backs and smaller rear decks. The BRV2 uses the same
power-coated aluminum and EVA foam construction as it’s little brother
but now has five slots for rods enabling the back-deck angler to carry
as many as 10 rods. Like the original Bac Rac, the BRV2 installs in
seconds without fasteners of any kind as the right-angle flange holds
the units in place under the rear hatch.
The BRV2 comes with a stuff-sack which can also be a lunch bag or
extra tackle bag and can be worn as a back-pack freeing your hands for
carrying tackle and rods.
