The Roof-Mount J-Style Kayak Carrier makes transporting your kayak easy and convenient. Made of high-grade, powder-coated steel, this kayak carrier takes up less space on your car's crossbar by carrying the kayak semi-vertically on its side. With its unique J-style design, the carrier accommodates all types of kayaks up to 75 pounds and 17 feet and takes up less space than conventional carriers. This carrier fits Thule square load bars, round crossbars and most factory bars with a maximum 3.5-inch diameter. The carrier features hand knobs that secure the carrier to the crossbar. The Roof-Mount J-Stacking Kayak Carrier also features pads on the cradle arms to provide protection for the kayak hull. Once the kayak is in place, the cradles easily secure it with the two included heavy-duty straps, cam buckles and two ropes with galvanized steel bumper hooks that anchor the bow and stern of the kayak to your vehicle.
